Tag^®'s dedicated tracking and recovery team works closely with local law enforcement 24/7, but will only ever track a vehicle with the owner's consent.

RFID technology

The Tag^® system uses many tiny nano-transponders that are self-powered, almost impossible to locate, and broadcast a signal that cannot be jammed.

Book online: Book an appointment at your nearest Tag^®-installing Lebeau to get started. If your insurer requires Tag^®, the cost of the installation may be covered. Check with them beforehand.
Have the system installed: Your technician will install a varied number of trackers in secret places in your vehicle.
Get the etched logo: As part of the installation, a discreet Tag^® logo will be etched into the driver and passenger windows close to the door handle. Thieves stay away from cars with this logo.
Enjoy peace of mind: In the event that your vehicle is stolen, Tag^® will track it anywhere in North America. Tracking and recovery fees are included in the purchase price.

Frequently asked questions about the Tag^® System

No, only Tag^® will be able to track your vehicle—and they will only begin to do that once they have your consent and an event number from local law enforcement. This is the only time the system will actively track your vehicle.

Various insurers offer rebates and/or discounts for vehicles with the Tag^® System installed. Talk to your insurance provider or broker for more information.

Tag^® installation at Lebeau is quick, generally taking about an hour. To make sure the exact location of each tracker is secret, only the installing technician is allowed to be present. A confidential report is then sent directly to Tag^®.

In the event of a theft, the first thing you should do is report the theft to your local law enforcement, who will provide you with an event number. Immediately afterwards, contact Tag^® Tracking Central to update them. They will use the event number to proceed with tracking and recovery.
